The teenager can then tell their friends that something has happened at home and they need to leave. The agreement is that no one gets into any trouble for using the code.
So, if the teenager has too much alcohol or smokes a cigarette and realizes they are in trouble, they just text “X” for help. This is an awesome way to let your children know that you are there to help whenever you need them.
It keeps the lines of communication open and still allows your teen’s room to learn things for themselves.
