Monk’s social media account offered a glimpse of his daily life – he has a brother named Bean, who was rescued a year after him. Bean was originally living underneath the patio at the house of Nicole’s ex-colleague until she brought him home, where Monk and Bean instantly bonded.

Monk and Bean were a mischievous and highly energetic pair, with the ability to play from dusk till dawn and their toys strewn all over the floor. Both cats also enjoy the great outdoors and car rides, with cat leashes on.

Monk and Bean were so close, they slept together all the time. Nicole nicknames it the ‘cuddle puddle’.
