Consumers need to be aware of what goes into making the food products we buy. We assume that any food product on the shelves was made with care and with, ‘real’ food ingredients. Ketchup manufacturers most often do not use fresh tomatoes when making the product. They used a dried red tomato product – they just add water to it.
