Teachers have a public life and a private life. As a teacher, you should be mindful that your students may find out about the things you do when you are not at school thanks to social media. Lydia Ferguson’s students have started a petition to end her suspension after a ‘racy’ photo of her was posted online.

The photo, a selfie, features Miss Ferguson sitting on the edge of a bed with a white dress on. The school administration deemed the amount of ‘leg’ that she showed was too much and suspended her!

Miss Ferguson’s students disagree, they think Miss Ferguson looks lovely and want her back at school! Students say she is an excellent teacher and helps all the students. I am not sure what the fuss is about, I do not find the photo to be in bad taste at all! Share away, people.
