The locked-up dolphins may become dangerous to humans – since they only get let out to go see humans, it makes sense they may lash out.
Some reports indicate that the caged dolphins have been violent towards guests and have exhibited some other bad behaviors (like knocking over buckets of fish on purpose).
Tragically, some mother dolphins have been known to hold their babies under water and not let them breathe – as if to prevent them from having to live a life in captivity.
The Humane Society of the United States and the World Animal Protection report that some animals are given medications that are affecting their mood and behavior.
We should leave wild animals alone and enjoy them from afar.
