Pumpkin was rescued from the streets about a month ago. Recently, the pregnant dog found herself in need of rescuing again! Pumpkin was outside at her temporary home in Tennessee (she resides at a shelter for now). Somehow the pregnant dog had managed to crawl underneath the storage shed – and then she got stuck!
Kennedy Margetjak, a worker from the Hawkins County Humane Society, called to help Pumpkin. Pumpkin popped her head out from under the shed but didn’t come out. Kennedy realized that something was wrong, Pumpkin always came when called.
Because of her large belly (bursting with unborn pups), Pumpkin couldn’t get out from under the shed. Several people tried to give her a gentle tug – but that didn’t work. Joey Arnold, the shelter’s handyman, was called.
