John F. Miller School in Las Vegas has students with severe disabilities. The student body ranges in age from 3 to 22, and many of them are in wheelchairs and cannot speak. Principal Jean Reynolds says that some students don’t make it until graduation day. But that doesn’t mean they deserve anything less than the best.
Recently, five seniors were graduating from John F. Miller, and the event wasn’t going to be anything special… until the FOX5 Surprise Squad got wind of it and took over! The school had no extra funding or no student council, but they had a spectacular graduation ceremony thanks to the Surprise Squad! Watch the video below to learn more about John F. Miller School.
