The cat was dehydrated and emaciated, but the vets were able to remove the cardboard and treat his wounds.
Since the cat was rescued on Valentine’s day, he was named Valentine. It took some time, but Valentine finally relaxed and was a little friendlier.
He was understandably a little touchy after his ordeal.
At his foster home, Valentine learned that humans (and sinks) can be good companions!
