Sanjana Madappa had five dogs when she found out she was pregnant. Many of her friends told her that the dogs should go – but she disagreed! Madappa works for a shelter in Bangalore, India called Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA). All five of her dogs are rescues from the shelter.
They were also a part of her family, and there was no way she would give them up! Madappa’s own doctor told her to get rid of the dogs before her baby came.
Instead, Madappa and her family all sat down for a photoshoot. Madappa wanted to show people why there was no way she was going to give up her dogs.
