Not all of nature’s animals are pack animals. We all know that wolves live in packs and have a hierarchy. But, for the most part, bears prefer to live on their own. During mating season, bears will find each other, but it is just a brief encounter. Lassi Rautiainen, a wildlife photographer, found an unusual duo in the wilderness of northern Finland.
The pair consists of a female gray wolf and a male brown bear. Lassi followed the pair for 10 days and was able to see just how important their relationship was.
The bear and the wolf spent all their time together and even shared their kills! Who could have imagined that?!
Lassi saw the bear and the wolf stalk and kill their prey together! Lassi’s photos prove that this relationship is one in a million!
