The typical presentation of Lyme disease is a red mark that looks like a bull’s eye – but Walsh’s daughter never had one of those marks.
Walsh is sharing this story to let parents know that they should be persistent and make sure the doctors are being thorough.
Walsh posted a message on social media explaining her daughter symptoms and said she never saw a tick on her daughter – but that doesn’t’ mean you shouldn’t check your child for bites.
Thankfully, Walsh was able to get her daughter to a medical facility with a dedicated staff who figured out the problem!
