It is not everyday you are asked to be a hero. Being a hero doesn’t always mean you will make headlines though. Some of us do little things each day that make a difference. A smile or a hello to a stranger can brighten their day (and it can make you feel good too). Even letting a car go ahead of you in a line of traffic is a nice gesture.
Sometimes, circumstances may call on you to do more. But are you ready? Can you handle the responsibility? You probably can. Human beings are powerful and amazing creatures! The key is to use your ‘powers’ for good like Peter did. Peter saw a tiny kitten on the side of the road.
The pitiful creature was very small and didn’t even have the energy to move. She was too hungry, dehydrated and worn out. Peter gave her water and showed her some love.
When he did, the kitten looked up at him and purred. She was going to let him help her!
Before the two went to the vet, the kitten curled up in his arms and took a nap!
