I will never understand why people like to hunt. MSN reported that Theunis Botha, 51, specialized in leading groups of wealthy people on hunting expeditions. Botha has his own YouTube Channel where he has documented several hunting trips (he has killed lions, elephants, leopards, and buffalo).
The Washington Post wrote that Botha posted photos on his Facebook page of him standing over a wounded elephant’s body. During one hunting trip to Zimbabwe, Botha and his group stumbled on a breeding herd of elephants.
Three elephants charged, and Botha fired at them – but a fourth elephant approached from a blind spot. One of the other hunters shot her after she had lifted Botha with her trunk! When the elephant fell, Botha was trapped underneath her enormous body.
Most of the internet is saddened by the elephant’s death – few people are sad that Botha too was killed.
Share away, people.
