Almost everyone has a camera on their cell phones. We can take a video of any activity to save forever and ever. Or we can take a video to share with our friends. Some people take dirty, disgusting, illegal video for their own perverted pleasure. Like the man that was arrested in Palatine, Illinois.
He was trying to use his cellphone to watch a minor undress in a Target dressing room. When the girl screamed, the man ran off. The girl told the police she was in the changing room and saw a man’s hand holding a cell phone under the door.
Target issued a vague statement about their robust procedures – which clearly failed. I can’t recall ever seeing a person sitting near a fitting room at a Target. Palatine has had other cases like this happen within their borders.
In 2015, Elizur Gomez, 34, a janitor at a YMCA, was arrested after attempting to record two minors in the changing area. When the two girls in the stall noticed the cell phone they both ran out and told the staff and their parents. It didn’t take long for the police to come and arrest Gomez.
Gomez admitted he was going to try to record them undressing. It is a sad world we live in. The stores have to have a changing area that is safe for young girls to go into. I think the solution is simple – post a responsible adult in and around all women’s changing rooms – NO men allowed.
Share away, people.
