Imagine waking up and looking out your window only to see a baby fox with its foot caught in a trap. One neighborhood in Cudahy, Wisconsin is rather fond of the foxes that live in the area, and no one hesitated to help the fox cub in trouble.
Several families acted to get the fox help after it had gotten its foot trapped in a rat trap.They estimated the fox was only about six-months-old.
One woman, Barb Lierman said she was horrified to see the fox and was in tears. The incident helped bring people in the community together.
They had a common goal – get the trap off the fox’s leg. Lierman got a cage from the Wisconsin Humane Society, and they set it out in the hopes of trapping the fox.
