One of the officers had to chase the ducks in order to catch them. Eventually, the ducks went peacefully into the police cruiser. Osiecki was contacted, and she was able to get her four ‘jail’ birds out of the clink!
Local news station WNEP 16 reported that Osiecki was quite happy to have her ducks back.
Osiecki’s young daughter is enjoying the five minutes of fame the ducks got by being arrested and loaded into the police car!
It is good that someone called the police so the ducks could be taken home. Maybe Osiecki should get them all some identification collars so if this happens again, she can be called directly and the police don’t have to get involved!
