Pearl, just 4 years old, couldn’t walk or move her head. How could a person do this to a dog? Pearl was put on an aggressive weight loss plan.

Her trainers and vets wanted her to lose one pound a week. This was necessary. Pearl’s heart could just give out at any moment. During her weight loss program, Pearl got pneumonia.

She had to put exercising on hold to recover. Pearl did have the desire, it seemed to get better! Her exercise regime included an underwater treadmill and exercise balls.
