Denis waited for hours. He repeatedly saw the two dogs barely survive as each train roared over their heads. Finally, Panda started to trust Denis enough that he was able to get Lucy off the tracks.

Denis took both dogs and loaded them into his car (because there was no way Panda was going to have it any other way!). Both dogs are safe and warm at an animal shelter. They will soon be looking for a forever home. Hopefully, they can be adopted together.
