There is always a period of adjustment you go through after adopting a new pet. You have to get used to the animal and vice versa. One family adopted a dog from their local animal shelter. It was a good fit! The dog was happy and very affectionate.
The family would take him on walks, and they played together all day. At night, the dog would sit by the bedside and stare at his new mom and dad until they fell both asleep.
If that isn’t strange enough – when the couple woke up, the dog was sitting in the same place and still staring. The couple couldn’t imagine why the dog would do that. I can’t think of a reason for that behavior either – can you?
