Diamond, the Jack Russell terrier, and his human dad, Gunnar Kr Sigurjónsson, live in Iceland. One day, Gunnar saw Diamond acting a little strange. Diamond would come into the room, whine and then walk back out. It was as if Diamond wanted Gunnar to follow him. So, he did.

As soon as Gunnar started to follow, Diamond started to run! He was glad that his dad finally understood! Diamond led his dad to the balcony where a lifeless bird was lying on the ground.

Gunnar thought the bird was dead – but then the bird blinked an eye. Gunnar scooped up the bird – and just then the bird sort of sputtered to life. The bird was dazed and weak, however, so Gunnar brought it in the house.
