It is never a good story that ends with the dog (or cat) dying. This is one of those stories. A French bulldog was left inside a car that was parked at an outlet mall in Vacaville, California. It was about 90 degrees outside, and the dog’s owner was shopping in the nice air-conditioned building.
As most people know, it gets really hot inside a car during the summer, and the temperatures were soon over 120 degrees – the windows were only open a crack. If you see an animal inside a car on a hot day – call for help. In many states, the person who attempts to rescue a dog from a hot car can get into legal trouble – so call for help.
Be smart and be safe – when you go shopping, leave your pets at home where they can be more comfortable.
Share away, people.
