While going to work lately, commuters in Seattle noticed a dog getting on the bus by herself. The three-year-old Labrador/Mastiff mix named Eclipse sort of became famous there for riding the bus on a daily basis! She is known as Seattle’s Bus Riding Dog and has a fan club of “Ecliptomaniacs”!
Eclipse is also the star in a video for the Seattle Metro Trip planner.
Jeff Young, Eclipse’s human dad, would often take the bus to go to the dog park, but one day Jeff was taking a little too long to get ready to go, so Eclipse got on the bus all by herself!
If Jeff wasn’t going to take her to the park, she would just do it herself! After that, Eclipse started to ride the bus on her own more frequently.
