When Tommy was about a year old, he was adopted from a shelter. The family had been looking for a female dog, but couldn’t’ help but fall in love when they met Tommy – I mean just look at his face! Tommy fell in love with his new family on the spot too! Jenna Termolen, Tommy’s mom, said she and her boys knew Tommy was their dog.

In 2015, Tommy and his family moved to upstate New York. Tommy had had a lot of other canine friends at his old house and seemed lonely at first. Then in walked Jackson, a shaggy dog that had no tail. Tommy and Jackson seemed to hit it off, and the Termolen’s learned that Jackson just lived a few houses down from theirs.

Jenna and her son took Jackson home, and his owner wasn’t surprised Jackson had made a new friend! Ever since that day, Jackson comes over to visit Tommy – every single day!

Jenna and her son would always walk Jackson back home after the two dogs played – but now, they know he can make the short trip himself!

Jackson is a regular visitor and is always welcome at Tommy’s house!

According to Jenna, Jackson will bark twice at the front door when he arrives, if no one answers, he will try to get into the house through the garage or back deck – he knows that he just has to keep trying doors until someone answers! Tommy may be older, but he appreciates his young friend Jackson!
