Maupin assaulter her with the metal object and forced her to perform oral sex on him. The police found Maupin’s dentures (which were imprinted with his name) at the crime scene. At the time, the police didn’t test the dentures, they put them in the rape kit, and they sat untouched for years.

It wasn’t until July 2016 that the dentures were taken to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for DNA testing.
Maupin had the false teeth made while he was sitting in prison for a 1988 murder of a 6-year-old Tricna Dawn Cloy.

What I don’t understand is how Maupin could have ever been released from prison in the first place. If our legal system worked, Maupin would have been behind bars for life for murder, not out free walking around to hurt other people. Share away, people.
