Her new home is at a sanctuary located on Tchindzoulou Island on the Kouilou River. You may be able to imagine how excited Wounda was to be able to get out of that crate!

But, instead of dashing off as soon as the door was opened. Wounda waited. The time she had spent with her human rescuers had touched her – it meant something to her.
