Some children have more sense than their parents.
Some people shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.
Take Lakin Michelle Stoppard, 27, and Anthony Edward Young II, 26, from Dover, Pennsylvania, for example.
By their ages, you can tell that they are adults.
They are also both in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children.
The person responsible for turning them in was their ten-year-old son.
The boy called 911 after finding some needles in his parents’ bedroom.
According to reports, the boy knew his parents had a drug problem.
The police found eight syringes, a crack pipe, and four glassine heroin packets.
Stoppard was then seen stumbling around in a field near the home.
She returned to the house with constricted pupils, glassy eyes, and had a hard time balancing.
In the middle of the day this so-called mother was doing drugs while her son was at home.
The police called Young and asked for a meeting. He was apparently sober enough to refuse to meet with the police.
Thankfully, he was later tracked down and arrested.
After posting $7,500 bail, he was released.
Stoppard is still in custody.
The 10-year-old was placed in the custody of York County Children and Youth Services.
It takes a lot of courage for a ten-year-old child to call the police on his parents.
I am proud of the young boy.
Maybe this will be the wake-up call his parents need to change their ways.
Share away, people.
