Does your heart just break to see a cat with that many mats in its fur? Believe it or not, there is a cat under that fur. Sinbad, the nine-year-old Persian had five pounds of extra fur dragging behind him. The staff at The Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago were understandably shaken to see how overgrown his fur was.

The man could barely take care of himself, so, Sinbad suffered too. The man willingly surrendered Sinbad. The staff went to work.
