One of the most rewarding things you can do is help someone – or help a stray animal.
We have adopted several cats from a local rescue. Each time we brought one home we felt so good. Nothing compares to that feeling.
Two guys were feeding a feral cat. They would put food out for her and then leave.
The feral kitty was too scared and nervous to eat in front of them.
This went on for several months, and eventually, the cat was less nervous around people.
Then one day she surprised both guys when she brought her litter of kittens to see them!
The two guys spent about an hour gathering up all the kittens.
They were not about to let all those babies grow up on the streets – even though they had a good mom.
After all the kittens were safe, they turned their attention to the mother.
They didn’t want her to be left outside any longer – and her babies needed her.
Once the entire family of cats was inside, things were hard at first.
None of the kittens were willing to come out of the crates. They just sat there.
Eventually, they all ventured out, and before long they were bouncing around and having fun!
The momma cat relaxed and was able to nurse her kittens.
The whole family was together and safe! The two guys then started to try and find homes for everyone.
All the kittens were able to find forever homes. Please remember to adopt and don’t shop (for pets)!
