McKay said that Blue didn’t even acknowledge her when she first approached his kennel. He didn’t stand up, he just laid there. McKay said it was as if Blue was just going to wait until the family that he had known came back for him. It was a sad sight. Blue wasn’t quite ready to be adopted yet. McKay brought him a bone and a new bed while she waited.
She wasn’t going to give up on him like that family did. On her third visit to the shelter, Blue noticed her and came right to her!
She was thrilled! Her patience had paid off! Once out of the shelter, McKay got to know the real Blue.
He is energetic, happy, and loves to ride in the car!
