This is the story of Mitsie the Beagle, who was abandoned by her former owners after 11 years with them – much to her dismay.
She was then surrendered to a shelter located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mitsie’s former owner also instructed the shelter staff to euthanize her – because she was sick of her!

But shelter staff weren’t willing to do so – she was such a sweet pooch!
Instead, they posted her story on Facebook, in which has successfully garnered great support – and tons of adoption offers!
The senior beagle has left the shelter since the successful post, and has also found a new loving home!
