Around the rivers of Alligator Point in Florida, United States, a wildlife officer was going about his usual patrol routine when he saw something – it was a black bear that ran loose. He alerted the Wildlife Commission – and they tranquilized the bear. Unfortunately, the bear panicked before the drug took effect – and ran into the water.
Without thinking twice, biologist Adam Warwick jumped in after the bear, and saved its life. He emerged unscathed though, sustaining only a few minor scratches caused by the groggy bear.

The poor Black Bear is now safely back in the Osceola National Forest, where he rightfully belongs!
