If you have a fear of spiders, then the camel spider is likely not one who you’d want to run into at any time! Technically, camel spiders aren’t even spiders! They’re arachnids that are part of a classification known as Solifugae.

These creatures are huge – about the size of land lobsters – and can run at a terrifying 10 mph. They’re also great at climbing trees and walls. Yikes!
